Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange goods within 14 days of purchase. Before you return an item you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the goods and obtain an authorisation reference number (ARN) by emailing us at sales@youngideasfashion.com. Please include your original receipt in the returned parcel and you must write your returns authorisation number on the receipt and the outside of the parcel. Any returned items which are not accompanied by our official reference number will not be accepted.
Goods must be returned to us within 14 days of our despatch date and must be returned to us in their original unworn condition, complete with the labels attached. Shoes must be unworn and in their original box. We reserve the right to insist upon payment for the goods if these conditions are not adhered to. After satisfactory inspection of your returned goods we will issue a refund. Refund timescales may vary, so please allow 10 working days for your refund to appear on your credit card or bank statement. We will only refund to the original purchaser’s payment card for the sum paid.
Young Ideas will only exchange an item for the same item in a different size, subject to availability. If a different item is required you must place this as a new order.

We recommend that you return your items using a delivery service that insures for the value of the goods and that you keep proof of your postage certificate as Young Ideas is not responsible for any goods lost or damaged in transit. Please note that the postal charges for returned goods are the customer’s responsibility and will only be reimbursed in the event of damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Same as above except that we request that all sale items are returned within 7 days of the date you receive your item.
Guidance to ensure Product Quality
Clothing care guidelines
When trying on items of clothing do not remove labels. Please ensure that you are not wearing perfume or deodorant, which may leave a scent or marks on an item.
The item must be returned in the original packaging with any enclosed documentation.
Jewellery care guidelines:
Avoid contact with perfume deodorant, hairspray or water. Avoid scratching jewellery by storing in a non-abrasive box or pouch.
Shoe care guidelines:
Only try on shoes on a carpeted surface and ensure returns are packaged in their original box.
Please handle all products with care and do not apply any unnecessary force.
Faulty Goods
If the item you receive is faulty, please contact us during business hours on 01335 342095 or via email quoting your name, address, details of the product and the reason for the return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then issue a returns authorisation number and advise on how to proceed with the return.
