The fall 2011 CITIZENS OF HUMANITY women’s collection infuses fabric innovation, modern, vintage classic washes and bold colors for one of the most dynamic premium denim collections of the season. High quality craftsmanship is used in each and every piece and has been scrutinized and perfected by Jerome Dahan. “Touch” is the key experience with denim and corduroy offerings that feel like silk and velvet.
Inspiration this season comes from a return to 1970's silhouettes and Utilitarian Minimalism. It is the Citizens Touch that offers a modern interpretation on the New Clean, an understated elegance. Fluid, wide leg shapes, A-Line Skirts and boxy blazers lend themselves to clean, dark washes; while 70's influenced flares and bell bottoms are perfected with a modern take on rich, indigo vintage washes. The Brass ( wide leg ), Devote ( flare ), Tribute ( low slung boot ), Angie ( super Flare ) and Avedon ( Skinny ) are the most important silhouettes of the season.
